String trio playing jazz fusion is a formation of three renowned musicians with rich multi-genre experience, who focus on the creation of original music. The trio consists of Alexey Aslamas (violin), Vladan Maliniak (viola) and Simon Marek (cello).
On the Czech and international scene, they have presented themselves as a unique and innovative ensemble that reflects their common musical influences, with their work often responding to the vibrancy of inner-city life. Their style, which they have named "urban fusion", combines elements of jazz, classical music and modern rhythms, bringing listeners an original and novel sonic experience.
The trio actively participates in various projects, festivals and collaborates with other artists, expanding the horizons of the contemporary music scene.
SVA review:“The compositions of the SVA Trio (Alexey Aslamas, Simon Marek and Vladan Malinjak) are present and contemporary. The music is extraordinarily rich in contrasting moods, rhythmic excitement, and fresh melodic ideas. Moreover, a village boy like me can listen to it with ease. Considering the freshness, style and energy of S.V.A.'s collaborative Urban Fusions I rank the trio among the best entries of the last year- Milan Bator, ČRo Vltava
