Born in 1975 in Hradec Kralove - sound master, expert in sound technology and media. From early childhood he was devoted to music, learned to play the piano and later the organ. After graduating from high school in 1993 he went to Brno University of Technology (major in computer science). At the same time he also started working as an IT specialist for several domestic companies - Health Insurance Company of the Ministry of Interior (1993-1995), TRUCONEXXION, a.s. (1995-1997) and SODAT, s.r.o. Brno (1997-1999). In 2002 he completed his studies at FAMU in Prague. 2006, head of the technical department) and participated in many radio and television programmes and film projects - Czech Dream (2004), Come Closer, Candy (2005, directed by Pavel Koutecký), Profile - Jakub Wagner's film about the life of Jan Kaplický, Violin Knight (2006, directed by Pavel Marek) - the life story of a Romani violinist, on the preparation of the music for the film Goya's Phantoms (2007, directed by Miloš Forman) or most recently on the project Well Paid Walk, again directed by Miloš Forman (National Theatre).
As a sought-after expert in the field of sound technology, David Hysek is also invited to collaborate on important music and media projects - the Alternativa Festival (Prague, 1999-2004), the International Festival of Romani Music KHAMORO (since 2002) and the FHK (Musical Forum Hradec Králové, Opera Open Air Festival, Jazz Goes to Town and others). As a sound engineer he has also been cooperating with T-servis, Disk Multimedia and Respect Music for many years. With the controversial conductor and composer Varhan Orchestrovich Bauer, he has headed the Instant Film Orchestra since 2003 as producer, manager or sound master. Since 2005, David Hysek has been running his private studio Bathroom media, a sound laboratory preparing new projects in the field of music, mostly related to ethnic themes (Roma music) or experiments in the field of media.
