Alexey Aslamas

Born 24.12.1983 in Penza, he started his musical journey as a violinist. After studying at the Brno Conservatory with Prof. Bohumil Kommel, he transferred to the Prague Conservatory to the class of Prof. Pavel Kudelásek, under whose guidance he graduated in 2005 with Dmitri Shostakovich's Violin Concerto No. 1 accompanied by the Prague Conservatory Symphony Orchestra. In the same year he was admitted to the Prague Academy of Performing Arts in the class of doc. In 2008-11 he studied at the International Menuhin Music Academy Gstaad in Switzerland with maestros Albert Lysy and Liviu Prunar. During his studies, he participated in various master classes (Prof. Semion Jarošević, Attila Falvay, Bogdan Zvoristeanu, Mihaela Martin, Philippe Graffin, Stanimir Todorov, Ettore Causa, Hagai Shaham, Maestro Maxim Vengerov) and won prizes at international competitions in Interlaken (Switzerland, 2005), San Sebastian (Spain, 2008), Schwerin (Germany, 2010), Chamonix (France, 2011).‍

Alexej Aslamas is actively engaged in chamber music - 2005-2009 member of the Kaprova Quartet, 2008-2011 member of the IMMA Quartet, 2011-2022 primary member of the Pavel Bořkovec Quartet, in 2020 he founded the S.V.A. He also plays in the most diverse styles from blues to funk to psytrance and hip hop (cooperation with Cradle of Filth, Acute Dose, producers DJ Opia, Sirian). As a composer and arranger, he has collaborated with Epoque Quartet, Apollon Quartet, Michal Pavlíček, Monika Naceva, Dara Rolins, Dasha, Chuck Wansley, DJ Wich, Štěpán 7krát3 Hebík.‍In addition to violin, he also studied conducting at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in the class of doc. Hynk Farkač. He has a permanent engagement at StarRecordings Production, Glorchestra and is the chief conductor of Unique Orchestra.
